I had some acrylic wine glasses that have become discolored from red wine so wanted a new set. These will work, I am not enamored by the lip at the top of the glasses, but I won't return them just for that reason alone.Not as heavy as I’d hoped. Still useable even for everyday use. Price is good.I like to use these wine "glasses" around the pool. No worries of glass shattering! Holds a good deal of wine, I think at least 8 ounces.The lip is terribleReturned.I needed some lightweight glasses for our RV. I wanted something that wouldn't shatter if it fell, and was as light as possible. On that front, these glasses are the gold standard. However, they are so lightweight, and so thin, I am concerned about how long they will last overall. On a positive note, they are made here in the U.S. The rim at the top of the glass seems contentious among reviewers, however, it at least adds some durability and reinforcement to the rim of the glass.My biggest gripe with these glasses is the price. At the time of this review, they are nearly $25 for six. $4.16 per plastic glass seems a bit steep in price. If however, you are looking for the lightest weight possible, and want to buy something made in the U.S.A., then you've got a winner here!The first impression, based on the look and feel, is that it is one grade above the disposable plastic cups that are often provided at parties. The material feels similar to the heavy duty plastic utensils (spoons, knives and forks) that you may find at the large warehouse shopping stores.Yes, they are very light, almost too light, that I feel concerned that it might tip over. The lip around the opening is, well, odd feeling both to the lips and the fingers.I was tempted to intentionally step one of the cups to see how easily if would break, and how many pieces, but I didn't want to risk hurting myself.I included some pictures to show that these glasses are stackable :)We entertain on the patio and the boat a lot, so acrylic wine glasses like these are useful. These are very lightweight and smaller than other acrylic glasses I've seen, which puts me off a bit, but my wife likes it. I'm also not sure I'm crazy about the lip around the rim, which is much more pronounced than in the ad photos, but it actually seems fine in use.They look decent, they are not real expensive, and it seems like they should last a while.
